More than 400 statements were filed through the Luxembourg Police’s online reporting system between its launch on 27 July and 12 October.
A police spokesman told Delano that:
“Our ‘e-commissariat’ was launched [at the] end of July. Since then, about 200 complaints were filed online. Most of them were related to fuel theft at gas stations (133), followed by cell phone or tablet theft (25) or bicycle theft (22).”
“Besides that, our e-commissariat received 206 declarations because of a lost object and 27 persons wanted to declare an accident with wildlife.”
