Eurostat published the latest statistics on 30 January, which show the strongest annual growth in a decade.

Annual growth reached 2.7% in the euro area in 2017.

The eurozone and the EU both grew by 0.6% in the final three months of 2017, partly thanks to France’s 0.6% growth and Spain’s 0.7%.
