A total of 945 companies in have been liquidated under court orders since March 2020, an increase of 21.8% on the same period a year earlier, Statec said on 26 March.

The hospitality and events sector represented just 4% in part due to the short-time working scheme. These sectors are likely to be hardest hit when these aids are withdrawn.
