Union LCGB made the announcement about VIP Domotec Home Service Sàrl in a statement published on Friday of last week. The firm is specialised in cleaning buildings. It reportedly filed for bankruptcy on 22 January.

On Thursday, an information meeting was held with affected staff to ensure they can receive any overdue pay and bankruptcy benefits as quickly as possible.

“Since the company never complied with the collective agreement applicable in the building cleaning sector, additional adjustments related to compensation must be made,” the LCGB said in a statement.
