F91 Dudelange won its third BGL League title in a row on Sunday with a 6-0 win at Differdange.
With one game left in the BGL League, F91Dudelange can no longer be caught by closest challengers Progrès Niederkorn. F91 thrashed southern rivals Differdange 6-0 with David Turpel scoring a hat-trick. That leave F91 with 65 points from 25 matches, five clear of Niederkorn who had earlier beaten Hostert 6-1.
At the other end of the table, US Esch has long been relegated after collecting just four points all season. The second relegation spot will be decided on the last day of the season between Rodange and Rosport. After Fola of Esch beat Rodange 7-1, Rosport could have pretty much secured their BGL League status with a win at Racing but were denied in the last minute when Bahloul scored for the Luxembourg City side to leave the final result 2-2.
Strassen Made sure they were safe in impressive style with a 6-0 win over Hamm Benfica.
