In a post on designer Jeanne Chavany’s Instagram page, Tessy Antony wrote about the pain of her recent divorce from Prince Louis, comparing it with that of miscarrying her third child.

“For me, of course my divorce was definitely one of the most difficult situations I have ever faced. I experienced the same feelings and emotions when I miscarried my third child,” she wrote, adding: “I cried for years over these two situations. Yet, I always sourced strength from my two healthy and happy boys who mean the world to me.”

Accomplished career

The young businesswoman began her career in the Luxembourg army in 2003. She received the UN medal of recognition for volunteering to take part in the United Nations mission in Kosovo.

She is UNAIDS global advocate for young women and adolescent girls, the patron at UNA-UK, an organisation tackling issues of sexual violence in conflict and co-founder of Professors Without Borders, a social enterprise that aims to bring quality education all around the world.

Tessy and Luxembourg’s Prince Louis married in Luxembourg in 2006. They announced their separation in 2017 and were granted a quick divorce in February. They have two children together, Princes Gabriel (11) and Noah (10).

In the post, Tessy described herself as a “single mum of two incredible boys”.

“Failure is natural. It all depends what you make out of it. There is always a way to turn things around to become positive and constructive for yourself, your family and people around you,” she wrote.
