Now in its fourth edition, the diversity awards recognise best practices in diversity in organisations in four key areas.
Fondation ABBL was the winner in the recruitment, welcome and integration category for its “La Zuumer Academy” awareness-raising project, which focuses on financial education to enhance social inclusion.
Investment bank Brown Brothers Harriman won in the category for career management for its promotion of managerial education on diversity bias, while Hôpitaux Robert Schuman was awarded for its commitment to violence prevention in the well-being and working conditions category.
SES was awarded in the last category, communication and values, for its “embrace diversity” equality and inclusion working groups project.
The laureates were narrowed down by a 12-strong pre-jury group of independent experts, and later selected by a final jury.
The final ceremony, held on diversity day, was hosted by ministry for family affairs, integration and the Greater Region, Corinne Cahen (DP), along with IMS president Christian Scharff (pictured with laureates above).
Organisations dedicated to diversity action can also sign the diversity charter. The charter, a national commitment text for those wanting to commit to concrete actions, is supported by IMS Luxembourg, as well as Deutsche Bank, the Ministry for the Family, Integration and the Greater Region, PwC, Linklaters, RBC Investor & Treasury Services, Sodexo and HSBC Luxembourg.
The charter currently has over 200 signatories, 75% of which are private organisations.
IMS Luxembourg will also hold its next official diversity charter signing session on 28 September. More info on the event here.
