The so-called “Jugendabo” enables youngsters to travel free of charge within Luxembourg regardless of whether or not they are still in education.

To get hold of a free pass, teenagers should present a recent photo, their official identity papers and complete a “Jugendabo” form, in person to the central mobility office or by post to Verkéiersverbond “Jugendabo”, BP 640, L2016, Luxembourg. Requests will be handled within 10 working days.

The first card is free of charge but in the event the card is lost or stolen replacement cards will cost €25.

More information on obtaining the card can be found here.
