The festival, which features 16 shows in total at Banannefabrik in Bonnevoie, runs from 7-16 June.

The first English-language offering is “Paramount vs Tantamount,” performed on 9 June at 8pm. Written by Sophie Jung and Peter Burleigh and performed by Jung, the play examines eye/dentity through the lens of five characters.

A Belgian-Estonian collaboration awaits audiences on 11 June (8pm) for “Long Live The Life That Burns The Chest”. Written by Belgian director Armel Roussel and performed by Estonian actor Jarmo Reha, part one in the Japan series takes viewers on a funny and deep journey on their travels through Japan, India and Senegal.

The following day British artist Caroline Burns Cooke (pictured in the top photo) brings “Proxy” to the festival (8pm, 12 June). This disturbing one-woman show tells the tale of Gypsy Rose, a woman imprisoned in a world of fantasy, waiting for her online Prince Charming to rescue her.

Other performances are in French, German or Luxembourgish with the exception of “The Passion of Andrea 2-Solo Research”. This text-free performance, written by Simone Mousset and performed by Lewys Holt, examines memory, balance and character. It is performed on 15 June as part of the “creation” evening, starting at 7pm.
