On 11 and 12 December listeners to Sam Steen’s Breakfast show will be treated to the sound of children co-presenting, choosing the music, singing holiday classics and giggling…a lot, and sometimes at Sam’s expense. This is the fourth year that Ara City Radio has sold off half hour time slots in return for a €100 donation that will go to the Luxembourg Cancer Foundation.

Sam does a great job of getting the young ones to relax and enjoy their time in the studio. “The quality of the singers is what impresses me every year, oh and the variety of Christmas jumpers isn’t bad either,” he said. A repeat of the shows will be broadcast on Christmas Day, and each child will also receive a recording of their slot.
