The firm made the announcement on 2 October saying that the on-the-ground presence in Luxembourg augmented its London-based Luxembourg desk, serving multinational financial institutions, fund sponsors, and asset managers.

“As the firm at the confluence of capital and innovation, we are seeing increasing interest from our clients for structuring funds and doing deals in Luxembourg. We are pleased to open our newest office to address this demand,” said Goodwin chairman Rob Insolia.

Alexandrine Armstrong-Cerfontaine will manage the Luxembourg office, splitting her time between London and Luxembourg. The office, which is located on Boulevard Royal, is part of the firm’s international private investment funds practice, serving sectors including real estate, venture capital, private equity, infrastructure, natural resources and hedge funds.
