The government has announced that it is making data sets in connection with the covid-19 crisis available in the form of “Open Data”. Access to the data is completely public and copyright free. The data set contains figures on the number of people who tested positive for covid, the number of deaths, the number currently hospitalised--including those in intensive care--and the number of people who have left hospital, as well as the number of tests carried out for covid 19.

“The categories included in this dataset will be expanded as we go along,” the government said in a statement on Friday afternoon. The data sets can be accessed via the data.public.lu website.

Delano has asked the government’s information and press service why the figures published here do not include data from the previous day.

In addition, graphs illustrating these figures are now available on the main page of the government’s coronavirus website.
