A website dedicated to the good works of Grand Duchess Maria Teresa went online on Wednesday. It documents the grand duchesses engagement on behalf of various organisations with which she is involved--such as Unesco and Unicef and her own Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse--and also includes an easily accessible biography.

The site was launched, so far in French only, as preparation for the “Stand Speak Rise” forum that aims to help bring about an end to sexual violence in fragile environments. The forum will take place in Luxembourg on 26 and 27 March 2019 under the auspices of the grand duchess.

Another section of the site highlights her passions and hobbies- floral decoration and gardening as well as art, architecture and culture. And a gallery of photos and videos includes official portraits, images showcasing her social engagement, photos from official ceremonies, a family album and videos including the grand duchess’ recent turn as a “guide for a day” when she took a group of tourists through the grand ducal palace.
