Earlier in June, the trade union OGBL had threatened with a strike after two years of ongoing negotiations.

On Wednesday 21 June, FHL president Paul Junck and representatives of the trade union OGBL Nora Back and LCGB Céline Conter declared that they had signed the new collective agreement on increasing salaries and on better starting salaries for all health sector workers. New salary scales were established for ten different career profiles.
