According to an article on Reporter.lu, the auction is set to take place on 18 September 2018. 

The auction catalogue describes the details of the building as having two elevators, seven floors, 63 rooms "with standard equipment", etc., but specifies that the actual business is not included in the sale. 

The auction has come about a result of a family dispute, which dates back to March 2011, Reporter.lu claims.  

The Hotel International currently employs around 20 people who now face an uncertain future.
