The original building at 21 boulevard de la Foire was constructed to accommodate the first European school in Luxembourg. The INL moved to prefabricated buildings close to the European School I in Kirchberg in the autumn of 2015, as the building was renovated and expanded. The renovations were expected to cost €9.5m.
