Of that number, 22 have already settled into the calm, open space spanning two floors at 9 rue du Laboratoire, according to our colleagues at Paperjam.

The incubator was set up by the City of Luxembourg and Chamber of Commerce to focus on startups active in the fields of urban technologies, the environment, trade, construction, tourism and logistics.

Among the new startups which have been accepted by the incubator are Zero.1, developing wifi by light, Sumy, specialising in cold chain transport, smart city experts CityLity, and intelligent building experts BIM-Y.

The LCI is hosted in the same building as the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology, the House of Start-ups, Crédit Agricole’s Hub@Luxembourg, the International Climate Finance Accelerator, the headquarters of Chinese fintech PingPong, Luxinnovation and the House of Entrepreneurship.
