That’s according to education ministry figures released on 11 September.

There were 2,206 students in the international programmes of state-run primary and secondary schools at the beginning of the 2018 academic year, up from 1,621 in 2017.

Private international school enrollment went from 12,152 students in 2017 to 12,197 this September.
