It is seeking a new volunteer treasurer and auditor as well as new committee members to be voted in at its next official meeting on 18 July.

The club, which has been running for over 30 years, is looking to become a federation or umbrella body, enabling affiliated individuals and groups to organise events without having to create separate legal entities.

“Annual events will hopefully continue, and more events can be added to the calendar too - for example film screenings, lectures, alumni gatherings, etc,” the club said in a mailshot.

The proposal will be discussed at the meeting and, if adopted, will urgently require a treasurer, auditor and various committee members.

Anyone interested in joining the committee or finding out more should email [email protected].

All are welcome to attend the meeting at 6:30pm at Eirelux, 40 rue des Bruyères, L1274, Luxembourg-Howald.
