His departure followed a meeting with the outfit’s board of directors, List said in a brief press announcement issued on Tuesday evening.
List is a publically backed organisation that was created by the merger of the Gabriel Lippmann and Henri Tudor research centres in 2012. Its mission is to conduct research in the environmental, IT and materials fields that can be transferred to the private sector. List employs more than 600 people, according to its website.
Fernand Reinig, the organisation’s chief human resources officer, will act as interim chief, List stated in the communiqué (in French). “More details on the new governance of List will be disclosed later.”
