The number of jobseekers has decreased by 650 (-3.5%) compared to August 2020 and by 2,378 (-11.7%) compared to April, the national statistics bureau and jobs agency said.

However, compared to this time last year, the number of jobseekers was still experiencing an upward trend (+21.7%) and the number of non-resident jobseekers has gone up by 17.4%, from 2,389 in September 2019 to 2,804 at the end of September 2020. 

Available jobs posted at the agency were down to 6,852, -7.8% compared to September 2019.
