The US-based Keller Williams is the world’s largest real estate franchise, in terms of the number of agents it counts, some 3,500 in Europe alone. It is present in 14 European countries in 79 centres, each office employing an average of 44 employees. A press release on 11 July revealed its plans to set up a franchise in the grand duchy.

“The growth we are seeing around the world and especially in Europe, is nothing short of spectacular,” KWW president William Soteroff said on Monday. “Now we have a phenomenal new leader who is bringing KW’s unique culture into two very special markets perfectly suited for this agent-centric model.”

This new leader takes the form Olivier Vigneron, CEO of Brussels-based B2B Estate who will lead the franchise growth strategy in both countries.

“The arrival of Keller Williams in Belgium and Luxembourg marks a virtuous disruption of the market because agents will now be able to become true entrepreneurs, leveraging the brand’s models and systems,” said Vigneron. “We’re currently meeting with real estate leaders in Belgium and Luxembourg to find the best leaders.”

According to Vigneron, “The new master franchises are currently initialising operations and scheduling the launch of future offices, with the first market center to open in Brussels.”

In the coming weeks Delano will talk with Olivier Vigneron, as well as Luxembourg real estate agents, about KWW's plans for the grand duchy.
