The closure starts Monday at 5am and will end in “late November 2021”, the City of Luxembourg said on Wednesday.

Pass holders will still be able to access the car park.

The city advised all other motorists to try the Monterey, Royal Hamilius, Théâtre and Rond-Point Schuman car parks. Space availability can be checked in real-time on the city’s website.

The Knuedler car park’s public toilets will be shuttered from mid-July to mid-October 2021, the city also announced. A portable toilet will be installed.

Upgrades to the underground car park at Place Guillaume II started in January 2016 and are expected to be completed in 2023.
