This adds an additional 8,425 m2 to the big four firm, which installed its headquarters in 2014 at 39, avenue John F. Kennedy, where it has 17,200 m2 of space.

"When we look at our real estate policy, it is clear that the Kirchberg district is at the heart of our strategy," Fabrice Leonardi, COO of the firm, said in a press release. "We are fortunate to have our two buildings close to each other, and we are currently able to meet the needs of our employees in this thriving neighborhood."

KPMG is expanding in part due to the growth it experienced of 8% in its last fiscal year. Union Investment Real Estate, which owns three of the K2 buildings, commissioned Cushman & Wakefield Luxembourg to look for a new tenant for its office space in the Ellipse and Forte buildings. The mission was to find a buyer in the space left vacant by the law firm Allen & Overy.
