In addition to its new, multilingual website, the public language school has created an e-learning platform for all learners and will operate 25 classes on a blended learning basis, combining face-to-face and e-learning. Pre-orientation tests in Luxembourgish, to test a learner’s level prior to registration, are also now available online.

Luxembourgish

Starting in the second semester, the oral comprehension element of the national language test for nationality (Sproochentest) will be digitised.

And a pilot class will this year test an e-learning platform for Luxembourgish. Expected to be launched in September 2021, it will be made free of charge to anyone wishing to learn the Luxembourgish language.

450 courses

For the 2020 academic year, the school offers over 450 courses in nine languages, with Dutch joining the list for the first time this term.

Despite the pandemic precautionary measures, there are 7,000 places across its three sites in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg (Glacis), Belval and Mersch.
