Contestants in My First Enterprise work in teams of 2 to 4 students and have around 3 months to start a small business with €40. JEL said 49 teams, made up of roughly 200 students aged 15 and 16, participated in the programme.

Sixteen finalists presented in the finale, held Thursday 19 April at the BCEE “chateau” in the Gare district.

The “LES Muffins” team is composed of Laura Diderich, Ece Mutlu and Shamia Islam, students at Lycée Aline Mayrisch. They sold 125 muffins and made a profit of €170.

The SockiSocks team--Marcia Figueiredo and Tania Santos, students at the Marie-Consolatrice Private School--took second place.

The Black & White Power team--Ana da Veiga, Julie Santos, Letitica Barbosa and Elsan Kozar, students at the Lycée Technique de Lallange--placed third.
