The volunteer consultants are available to advise Luxembourg residents on how to deal with wasps and their nests in a bid to find a solution that won’t resort in stings or the unnecessary killing of wasps, which are ecologically important not only in their roles as pollinators, but also when it comes to predation and parasitism.

The organisation has further developed an informational brochure to educate the public on ways to avoid stings as well as solutions to deal with nests, such as installing special screening on windows or outdoors to help deflect the wasps’ flight paths. The organisation can also help identify wasp species.
