Nvidia AI is a tool used by scientists, researchers and businesses worldwide to harness the power of artificial intelligence
Students, scientists, industry and startup employees will have training in and access to new, cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions thanks to an agreement signed by the Luxembourg government and Nvidia.
The artificial intelligence and high performance computer cooperation was signed on Wednesday and is focused in the area of energy, the environment, autonomous driving and transport, robotics, financial services and healthcare.
As part of the cooperation, stakeholders will use the computing platform of California technology company Nvidia AI, a tool used by scientists, researchers and businesses worldwide to harness the power of artificial intelligence.
The cooperation ensures that stakeholders are trained to become teachers to help others gain AI and high performance computing.
It will not be the first time that researchers in Luxembourg will use the technology. Members of the University of Luxembourg Interdisciplinary Center for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) have used the platform in the experimental autonomous driving projects.
SnT director Björn Ottersten said the cooperation “will allow us to stay ahead of the curve scientifically and build a strong AI ecosystem in Luxembourg.”
