The youth hostel, located in Pfaffenthal, has added capacity by converting a former workshop into ensuite rooms, the City of Luxembourg said on Wednesday.

The expansion consisted of converting the cellar space into an office and three family rooms, each with five beds a shower and toilet.

“The refurbished space covers a total area of 120m2,” the city stated.

The project was led by the Theisen architectural practice, which has already spearheaded the youth hostel’s 2002 expansion.
