On Thursday, families minister Corinne Cahen (DP) and small and medium sized business minister Lex Delles (DP) announced corona.letzshop.lu, available in French and German and offering a home delivery service for more than 40 basic necessities such as rice, pasta, milk, tinned goods, fresh fruit and vegetables. It also sells toilet paper at a rate of €4 for 6 rolls.

In order to reach all vulnerable people, the corona.letzshop.lu platform can be accessed online and by telephone on 8002 92 92.

The types of people the site is designed for include over 65s, people with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic respiratory disease, cancer, or immune deficiency due to disease or therapy. People who may be able to use another means of supply (family members, Scouts, etc.) are asked not to use this site or the telephone number.

Luxembourg’s online platform for local businesses, letzshop.lu, remains open to the general public.
