According to meteorological figures published by the agricultural technical services administration on Tuesday, Clemency and Remich stations recorded the highest positive anomaly in March 2017 at 3°C compared to the mean from 1981-2010. January recorded the strongest negative anomaly with -2.9°C in Clemency and Grevenmacher.

An analysis of four weather stations showed that the months of February, March, May, June, October, November and December were hotter than the reference period. While the months of January, April and September were colder. The sum of precipitation for the year was not far off the mean for the 30-year reference period at stations in Clemency, Grevenmacher and Remich. Asselborn station recorded 20% less rainfall compared to the reference period.

2017 was characterised by a drier than average first half and a wetter than average second half.
