Over the course of the week, a number of individuals both in Luxembourg and the Greater Region were contacted by phone, and the “winners” were told they could claim their prizes simply by dialing a telephone number.

Once the victims called the number, they were charged exorbitant connection fees.

Luxair and LuxairTours state they never contact customers by phone, and all authorised competitions are available on their social media channels.
