The stage is aimed at people aged 55-64, starting with the oldest and people with a health condition that may increase their risk. In the latter are people with a managed, uncomplicated diabetes; uncomplicated high blood pressure; people who are obese (body mass index 30-40 kg/m2); and pregnant women.

People aged 55 to 64 will receive an invitation by post containing detailed instructions on how to make an appointment at the vaccine centre of their choice.

People with a health condition included above, and who are under 55 years of age, will be able to register for the vaccination through their GP or specialist from 8 April and will then receive an invitation by post.

Invitations will be sent out as and when the vaccines are delivered. Luxembourg’s health ministry also has an open waiting list for people who did not make their appointment during the third phase of the vaccination campaign, aimed at people aged 70 to 74. These people can register between 12 and 18 April 12 online here. They will receive a new invitation when the time comes.

Anyone who should have received a vaccine invitation because of their age but has not received one, should check their address on the national register of natural persons.
