The current location of the BnL in the historical building on Roosevelt Boulevard will close its doors for the last time on the evening of 6 September 2019.

The new location situated in Kirchberg (at the crossing between JFK avenue and Konrad Adenauer boulevard) will officially open its doors over 3 weeks later, on 1October at 2pm. The new building will have 8570m2 of public space and offer about 470 seats available to visitors.

Until the closing date of the library’s current location, it is still possible to borrow books. In fact, people whose books were due back during the closing period will see their return-deadlines automatically extended until 19 October.
