Two years later, its streetcars have travelled a collective 1m kilometres and carry an average of 30,000 passengers each day. That’s just between the 11 stations on the line between Luxexpo and Place de l’Étoile currently in service.

The section between Place de l’Étoile and the central train station is expected to start running in December 2020. That could push daily ridership up to 50,000-60,000.
