As announced yesterday, on 24 September Luxtrust, specializing in electronic identities, signed the partnership with fair & smart, a platform specialising in GDPR compliance which has locations in Metz and Paris. Luxtrust obtains the exclusive distribution of its right consents management solution on the Luxembourg and Belgian markets.

The solution will also be integrated into the IDKEEP personal data exchange platform, which Luxtrust plans to launch in 2021.

Luxtrust chief commercial officer Fabrice Aresu said in the Thursday press release, “Since GDPR, the management of personal data has become an essential element of this trust. Our IDKEEP platform now makes it possible to manage secure, efficient and consented exchanges of various personal data between actors, whether they are citizens, commercial or institutional.

“Luxtrust thus builds a unique link between the eIDAS and GDPR regulations. In this ecosystem, the management of consents is the legal basis of trust: we are delighted to be able, through this partnership with fair&smart, a recognised and specialised player within the GDPR, to benefit from the best solution for such management.”
