There were plenty of good vibes at the 14th edition of the ING Night Marathon, which saw some 16,000 runners take part in races, from the full and half marathons to a variety of business and charity team runs.
Despite the course--considered to be, for many runners, one of the toughest in Europe due to the unique, hilly topography of Luxembourg City--the event sold out early again this year.
Over 100 nationalities were represented, with runners ranging from age 3 to 83.
Here’s a look back at the evening as teams prepared to run, and crowds cheered on the hardworking athletes to the sounds of samba bands and other animation.
Registrations for the 2020 edition of the ING Night Marathon will open on 1 September 2019.
