LuxProvide will be responsible for installing the 10 petaflops power supercomputer and providing activities related to its services, in particular related to high-speed connectivity and advanced applications.
Employing 50 people in the long-term, it will set up a competence centre to guide and support companies embarking on high-performance computing projects. The centre will be powered by green energy, of which part will come from a cogeneration plant powered by waste wood.
Meluxina is co-financed by European funds and will join the European EuroHPC network of supercomputers. It forms part of the economy ministry’s data-based innovation strategy
