In a statement published on Tuesday, the airline announced it would operate flights to Nantes each Monday and Friday (starting 30 March 2020), Montpellier on Wednesdays and Saturdays (starting 1 April 2020), and Florence on Mondays and Fridays (starting 30 March 2020).

Luxair already operates flights to Italy to Milan-Malpensa, Rimini, Venice and Rome.

Tickets had gone on sale starting 3 September 2019. The flights will be operated using Bombardier Q400 aircraft. The timetables were specially chosen to give travellers the choice between a short or long break.

According to its website, Luxair serves 65 destinations. In 2018, it carried 2,132,426 passengers.
