Looking for some inspiring reading for the summer months? Delano readers share their top recommendations on books related to business or the work place.
This week Alfi chairman and Franklin Templeton conducting officer Denise Voss shares a book she plans to read on holiday this summer.
“If I manage to read anything business-related my goal is to read “The Undoing Project: A Friendship that Changed our Minds”, by Michael Lewis, as it relates to behavioural psychology and posits that human beings--no matter how intelligent or educated--frequently behave in an irrational manner. Ergo the need, when it comes to investing, for financial and investor education and one reason why Alfi focuses on the latter.”
About the author
Michael Lewis is a columnist for “Bloomberg View” and a contributing writer to “Audible”. He also served as editor and columnist for the British weekly The Spectator, as senior editor and campaign correspondent for The New Republic and has worked on a number of television and radio documentaries. Among his other books, two books about sports, “The Big Short. The Blind Side” and “Moneyball” became movies, nominated for Academy Awards.
