If you cannot go to the library, the library comes to you thanks to a new home postage service for loaned documents at the BnL Edouard Olzewski/archives

The announcement was made on Thursday and forms part of the Kirchberg library’s decontainment strategy. Books can be ordered via the library's online search engine.

Other measures include:

  • People who are not library card holders can now register online by emailing [email protected].
  • Reader accounts that were about to expire are automatically extended until September 15, 2020.
  • Returns for books that were borrowed prior to containment are extended until 1 July.

Loaned books can be returned 24 hours a day via the automatic return system outside the building (37D, avenue John F. Kennedy). Items that are not accepted by the automatic system (out-of-format items or those on international loan) can be deposited in a special box located in the BnL entrance door lock. This return box is accessible from 8 am to 8 pm. It is also possible to return works by post.

For assistance, email [email protected]/[email protected] or call (+352) 26 559-103.
