As Le Quotidien reported, there were 31,123 new registrations compared to 30,655 at the same time in 2018, a year which itself already experienced a record year in registrations (52,811 total last year).

Of the registrations, Audi is seeing a year-on-year growth of 7% with 2,474. Even more impressive is Tesla which posted a +327.6% growth, the highest progress in the first six months.

Despite this competitive growth, it was not the brand to have the most registrations in the grand duchy.

Volkswagen still remains a favourte for the grand duchy, coming in first for new registrations in the first half of the year (4,035 in total), followed by Mercedes (2,807) and BMW (2,714).
