Supplementary bus lines AVL 2, 4 and 21 will begin as of 9 December to serve the AI Avenue stop on the Avenue de la Gare. According to the City of Luxembourg, these adaptations should ease the connection between the central station area and the Ville Haute and, given that 9 buses will therefore serve the stop, public transport users should be able to get a connection between the main station and the centre and vice-versa every two to three minutes.

Pont Viaduc works

Traffic adaptations will also enter into effect starting 9 December due to works around the Viaduc bridge. The section of boulevard Roosevelt between rue Chimay and the Saint-Esprit tunnel, direction the bridge, will be closed to all traffic from 9-19 December.

The Viaduc bridge will also be closed direction central station starting 10pm the night of 19 December, lasting until 4:30am the next morning. One lane will remain open in the direction of the city centre, but only between 10pm-12:10am, after which time all traffic in that direction will also be diverted.

During these times, the Roosevelt 1 bus stop, direction Hamilius/Monterey, will not be impacted; however, connections through the Roosevelt 2 bus stop will be instead serviced through AI Avenue quay 2, Hamilius quay 2 or Monterey quay 1.
