The new cycle path linking Parc Pescatore with Boulevard Robert Schuman opened at noon on Thursday 27 July.

The €1.2m project allows cyclists to travel a 2.8m-wide, mainly shaded path, to easily reach the Grand Duchess Charlotte bridge from the Pfaffenthal lift, which connects the upper city with Pfaffenthal.

According to the City of Luxembourg, the path has been constructed using micropiles, which helps protect tree roots.
