Businesses that adapt their activities to make health masks, hand sanitiser and even those investing in work from home schemes could be eligible for new government aid Shutterstock

As part of a raft of financial measures aimed at combating the current health crisis and to solve the shortage of protective masks and hand sanitiser, the government will refund 100% of the costs businesses invested in re-focusing their activities.

The finance is comes under the “de minimis” aid and will be limited to the period of health crisis.

Firms interested in seeking the aid should contact the directorate-general for small and medium-sized enterprises by calling 2477-4705 or emailing [email protected].

Firms that have invested in infrastructure to set up a teleworking system for staff may also apply for financial aid under the general investment aid scheme through the mentioned means of contact.
