Replacing him is Zhujun Xie, who had previously served as Chinalux vice president since May 2013.

“We will further strengthen cooperation with and mutual support…the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, namely through greater participation in Chinese delegations’ visits to Luxembourg, thereby further increasing opportunities for cooperation between our members and Chinese business entrepreneurs,” Xie said in the chamber’s 24 July announcement. She added that she anticipates growth and diversification for the chamber.

Dewitte was appointed honorary president in recognition of his contribution to the development of the chamber.

Among the other appointments are Jacques Bortuzzo and Christine Rehfeldt as vice presidents, and the reappointments of Amanda Yeung, vice president and treasurer, and Yi Wang, executive director.
