He may have stopped flying long ago but that does not prevent Transition Towns co-founder Rob Hopkins from travelling to spread the transition message.
Hopkins spoke to Delano ahead of his talk in Luxembourg on Thursday. Describing himself as a cross-pollinator of stories, the goal of the movement is to empower communities to transition to more sustainable ways of living.
“What sustains me is how extraordinary people are when they come together and are motivated to do something,” Rob says in the podcast.
The Transition movement is present in over 50 countries worldwide, including in Luxembourg. Thursday’s conference, “How to live together in a one planet world”, is the first of nine conferences, events and video performances as well as workshops being organised as part of Transition Days in Luxembourg.
