- The delayed passage of Luxembourg’s space mining act has not blocked the signing of any company deals, Georges Schmit said in an interview with Paperjam. Schmit sits on the board of the government’s Spaceresources.lu initiative and is Luxembourg’s former consul general in San Francisco. The bill passed on Thursday, nearly 18 months after Étienne Schneider, the deputy prime minister, first floated the idea.
