The ministry of health reports that some 11,280 tests were carried out during that 24-hour period, and the number of total tests is likely to surpass the 300,000 mark on Wednesday.

So far 111 people have died as a result of becoming infected with the virus, though there has only been one death since 23 May. 67% of the fatalities were patients in hospital.
