Big week in parliament:

The show opened with a review of what has been a busy week in parliament. On Tuesday prime minister Xavier Bettel delivered his State of the Nation address and on Wednesday finance minister Pierre Gramegna outlined the budget for 2021.

Worrying Covid-19 situation:

Covid-19 was also on the agenda as Duncan and Natasha discussed the current situation in Luxembourg ahead of an emergency cabinet meeting on Saturday that could result in new restrictions being imposed in the grand duchy. They also talked about the infection rate in schools, testing log jams and the staffing challenge faced by the public health service.

Football business:

And with the weekend approaching, the state of football in Luxembourg and recent developments in the business of the sport seemed like an appropriate subject with which to conclude the seven-day round-up before presenting selected highlights of what’s on this weekend and beyond.
